01

What We Did for POSA

For POSA, we enhanced the overall product design and created a fast, mobile-first ordering experience that allows staff to take orders quickly and efficiently on the floor. Beyond mobile operations, we developed advanced remote reporting tools that enable business owners to monitor their venue in real time from anywhere, including a live operational overview showing which tables are occupied, guest activity details, and performance insights. We also designed a branch-based system architecture, allowing all these operations to be managed across multiple locations with centralized control. Throughout the process, we built a structured design system and delivered the product as high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring consistency, scalability, and a smooth transition into development.

02

Target Audience

POSA is built to serve a wide range of food and beverage business models, each with its own service style and operational dynamics. Recognizing that restaurants, cafes and fast-paced food venues all function differently, we designed dedicated operational flows tailored to each scenario and translated them into purpose-built interface designs. This ensured that every business type is supported with an experience aligned to its real-world processes, making daily operations more intuitive, efficient, and easier to manage.

03

Goals & Challenges

When POSA first entered the market, the ambition was clear: to build one of the most effective and modern POS systems not only for food and beverage businesses, but also for cafes, fast-food venues and barcode-based retail environments. We embraced this challenge by diving deep into research, analyzing competitors, industry standards and the real operational needs of different business types. What we found was a landscape still dominated by outdated systems, clunky interfaces and legacy technologies that no longer matched the speed and flexibility modern businesses require. The opportunity was obvious to create a faster, more intuitive and technologically up-to-date POS experience designed around how today's venues truly operate.

Love at First Sight

We approached POSA from a different angle and gave it a SystemOS-like experience. Instead of feeling like just another tool, the system was designed to behave like a natural extension of the device itself something users interact with as effortlessly as they use their own computer. When the device turns on, POSA is already there, ready to go. This creates a sense of familiarity and immediacy, reducing friction and making daily operations feel seamless, fast and intuitive from the very first moment of use.

A Visual Identity Built Around Every Sale

The POSA logo is inspired by the core moment of every business interaction: the transaction. The symbol merges the letter “P” with the shape of a receipt, representing sales and operational flow. At its center, a circle symbolizes time the continuous movement of daily business. Together, these elements create a mark that reflects POSA’s role in capturing, organizing and powering the rhythm of commerce.
